Dr. Nadira started a new role as the Country Manager of Sight and Life. She is a public health expert over 25 years’ experience in wider-angle of public health including health system strengthening, sexual and reproductive health & rights, family planning, maternal & child health, nutrition, TB, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, health financing, quality of care, capacity building, climate change and disability inclusion in healthcare. Nadira experiences working with multilevel of stakeholders both at public and NGO sectors and from policy to implementation ground. Dr. Nadira has leveraged her expertise by collaborating with couple of development partners in Bangladesh as technical specialist includes Global Affairs Canada, FCDO, the Global Fund, former USAID, and several UN agencies (WHO, UNOPS, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNAIDS). She continues advisory role to WHO Southeast Asia Regional Office (SEARO) as one of the Advisory Group members for Tuberculosis. Nadira is a member of Canadian Association for Global Health (CAGH) and she is engaged with the global MentorNet program of the same organization as a member of the steering committee. She serves as a volunteer mentor to support the emerging professionals interested in global health issues. She is a member of Bangladesh Country Coordination Committee for Global Fund.
